Magazine Bonus Extras: InnerBox LoadAll V2

Load All V2 Ramp

InnerBox LoadAll V2

By Steve Lita

Did you know that factory tailgate straps are not intended to bear a load? Quite often, conventional ramps are not wide enough to allow you to walk a motorcycle up into the bed. What do you do with the folding ramp once you have the bike in place?

The InnerBox LoadAll V2 sliding-ramp system is a cool device that attaches to the floor of your pick-up bed, consisting of an aluminum platform approximately 5” high with a built-in, slide-out ramp underneath on roller tracks. The ramp works just like a desk drawer. Pull the ramp out over the tailgate and lower it to the ground, flip the hinged plate forward to bridge the gap, and load your bike. When you’re done, slide the ramp away and shut the tailgate. The ramp is always there when you need it and won’t get in the way when you don’t. Everything is self-contained.

The standard unit is about 44” wide so it will fit right between the wheel wells of a standard pick-up truck bed. The LoadAll ramp system is constructed of aluminum extrusions with horizontal ribs, so it’s light and strong with decent traction, but caution should still be exercised when it’s wet. There’s a 1,300-pound weight limit, and it comes with a one-year warranty.

InnerBox can custom build a LoadAll in virtually any size to fit your truck, and optional accessories include a Condor wheel chock, ramp extensions, and legs that convert the ramp to a work table. InnerBox will be at Daytona Bike Week in J&P Cycles’ parking lot, and will have units ready to install while supplies last. Or, preorder a system and they’ll bring it to Daytona and install it free of charge. -- Steve Lita
