Hey guys,
i just purchased my first bike. A 1983 yamaha 750 virago and i am curious as
to what routine maintenance i should do on the bike.
OBVIOUSE PROBLEMS:
Starter: damn, when i start the bike it makes a loud clicking noise and
giving it gas does not help. I must let the starter click a bit, then once it
turns over i must give it gas within about 5 seconds to keep it running. The
choke does not effect this process. the bike has always started for the past
3 years (i knew the previous owner), Any ideas where i should start poking
around?
What are some other issues i should look at? The bike is old and im just
curious as to what common problems you guys see?
