Back in the day, we used to call these machines "felxible flyers" because they were seriously fast but had terrible frames, suspension and brakes - sorta like the old sleds. But boy could they wheelie down the road or track!

I read an article a long time ago about Kawasaki racing the triples at Daytona. They said that the bike wobbled so badly it was unrideable. Then they tried a set of harder compound, less sticky tires and they were able to get around the track without fear of impending doom!
