Here's a VMax for magazine feature article.

After learning a little powdercoating I took the engine covers off and powdercoated them with a Military Green that matches the paintjob I did to my Vmax. So I took the pics yesterday and here they are showing the completed bike.

The additional touches to the bike really make it standout, as if it didn't to begin with.

I think this bike could be a very good addition to the pages of RoadBike Magazine.

I'll take some current pics and submit them to see what happens. I am interested to see the Custom VMax in the next edition that comes out. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's gonna be really good. Maybe this WarHawk VMax can get in the Magazine later in the year or next year.

I should really send the pics to RoadBike and ask them to consider publishing a couple. They were kind enough to do a article on my Raider last year. Steve Lita was just too overloaded with Star bikes to take this one VMax at that time. I didn't intend to start complaining, just good natured ribbing on the Mags turn in their focus from metrics to HD's.
