Piaggio Group Americas is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Vespa 50cc motor scooter with a user-generated digital and social campaign. The five-week event will highlight the Vespa’s influence on the transportation and cultural landscape since its inception in 1963. Share your 50cc stories on Vespa’s digital lifestyle destination and submit photos via Twitter or Instagram.
In addition to submitting stories and photos, Vespa fans can also look forward to some special online events. Each Monday for five weeks, Vespa USA will share exclusive content about the history of the Vespa 50cc via their Facebook and Twitter sites. On Wednesdays, the company will revisit each decade’s specific pop culture scene from a Vespa perspective. And every Friday, Vespa USA will feature some of the submitted stories and photos from participating Vespa owners.
