It IS definitely a fractional difference, Jono — but absolutely, positively noticeable, both in size AND in weight.

Wore it just this a.m., actually! And I stick by my original assessment: It really is ideal for around town, but I wouldn’t necessarily want to wear it on a long slog via interstate. It truly is a “cap” in every sense; sits right up on top of my noggin, weighs virtually nothing, & doesn’t reach very far down the back or sides. Also, while the d-rings are indeed metal, the strap isn’t what you’d call thick or sturdy!

One thing: I wish the stripe came in a color other than Harley orange. Or no stripe at all.

Hi Jon,

Size-wise, is it noticeably smaller than other half helmets? Or is it just within a fraction of an inch, allowing them to make the “smallest DOT helmet” claim?
