Love your artwork, Usama! Isn’t that beautiful stretch of our country inspiring? I can’t wait to go back. I’d love to even get a canvas out there next time and do a little painting myself.

I was sent this link by my friend J. sandoval at the Santuario in Chimayo (and agree with Friar Roca’s words,”the best place on earth). Great photos of my favourite places. I have ridden my motorcycle from Chicago to NM annually since 1990,and have seen it all. Favourites are still,Chimayo, tha high road to Taos, Hwy.4 through the Jemez mtns., Hwy.64 and the loop through Angel fire and Red River, Hwy 14 through Madrid, Hwy. 60,…and the list goes on. I have also painted many of the old churches, ghost towns and landscapes of NM most of which can be seen @ http://www.usamaart.com. I also agree that everyone should ride NM at least once …..beware of the RR tracks crossing ST. Francis and Cerillos Rd…they finally got me last September.

My best friend(wife) and I were down there last June. great pic’s. and a great ride. I suggest every one take a week and ride that area and eat the FOOD! at least once. Enjoy the Mag. Photo’s brought back a lot of memories. highlights were the missions,roads food and the Vet memorial.Great job on the story and mag. will keep up my subscribtion.
